Mr. Tafakhar Ali Asdi is an officer of Central Superior Services (26th CTP PA&AS). He has done his BS in Electrical Engineering from Pakistan and an MSc. in Accounting & Finance from University of Bath, UK, along with that he did MSc. Sociology, MPhil Anthropology and Ph.D. Social Gerontology. Prior to his appointment as AG-AJK, Mr. Asdi has a diverse experience of 24-years’ working with National and International Public Sector organizations. This includes Federal and Provincial Accounting and Auditing offices in Baluchistan Sindh and Islamabad, Organizations that include Pakistan Army, Pakistan Customs, Election Commission and Federal Ministries of Science & Technology, Housing and Railways. Internationally he has the exposure of being the Auditor of “UNIDO” an organ of United Nations in Vienna Austria and represented Pakistan in INTOSAI, ASOSAI and other fora in Portugal, Italy China and Australia. He is a visiting faculty at National School of public Policy (NIM Islamabad, Peshawar, Quetta) AATI, Iqra University and International Islamic University.
